FNF has had some down time as of late.. Yes we know. We had to move servers. This has created some errors, most of which I think are fixed, with the exception of your personal avatars. They will have to be re-uploaded it seems. Sorry for the mess, hope to have all fixed here shortly to include getting BLR.folkandfiath.com back up and running as well;.

Hello All - I apologize for all the Spam bots. If you have seen a post of your disappear , i.e. like JW's just did, it is not because of you. It is do to the spam-bots that have been heavily attacking this forum for weeks now. I am not sure what to do as we are unable to get in touch with the supposed host of the site so that is why the site hasn't been updated in ages and the forum is getting these attacks. I will have to try one last time to get in contact with them and see what can be done. It may be we end up tearing the site and forum both down calling it quits or starting a blog. I am not sure the best option as of yet....  If you google some of the posts that have been coming in such the following you will see this same exact post is getting posted all over the web by these spam bots. How they are getting past the captcha when you sign up I can't figure out. at this stage I am seriously wondering if there is much point in keeping FNF online the way things have gone in the last year... |

Folk and Faith is a valuable site. It takes a lot of work to build up name recognition and momentum. Giving in to spam-bots is giving in, and unless something is overwhelming, why do it? All good sites may get a certain amount of opposition. Until you mentioned it, a person would hardly notice. The main reasons for change should be that there is a better strategy in place.
Some suggestions:
A place for "blogs", commentaries on the general social situation, by yourself or others -- we are going thru a lot of substantial power struggles behind the scenes.
Re-activating the "Action" category, what people are doing, or suggest could be done.

I know JW, but often it is overwhelming. Twice within the last couple of weeks I have spent a good hour each time manually deleting these fictitious accounts and their pharmaceutical druggie promoting posts and accounts. I simply need to try and either get access to the files or move the site somehow to another server where we have access to the files.
As well, personally speaking, my vision for things has changed a bit since first starting this site years ago. I see things and people that I once wholeheartedly supoprted now as being part of the control grid and thinking to myself "How could I have been that dumb and blind to such?" (many examples come to mind on this one) as well now kind of having a spiritual awakening that has lead to further thoughts on that road of things and that previously there wasn't enough said on the topic and almost supporting the idea that we ourselves can change things simply by supporting the right person or the right ideas. Now, I don't believe that we ourselves can do anything without the support of God.
I also wonder what sort of support that exists out there for our fledgling site and ideas. The NA movement I don't think really support us much anymore and I have to wonder how far my support for them at large goes now too.
As it is, we are totally locked out of our sites files and the site and forum both as far as content and software both needs much work. I just wonder if it is worth continuing...
